Chair 

Dieter Berg
(Chairman of the Board of Management, Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH)

Dieter Berg was born in Worms, Germany. He studied law at the universities of Saarbrücken and Heidelberg. Following his graduation, he worked as a law clerk at Heidelberg's district court and acted as personal assistant to the Rector of the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität, Heidelberg. He is Chairman of the Board of Management of the Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH. He has been with the Robert Bosch Stiftung since 2001. Before that, he acted as General Counsel to the Robert Bosch GmbH, which he joined in 1982.


Vice-Chair 

Boris Marte (Managing Director, Erste Stiftung)

Boris Marte was born in Bregenz, Austria, in 1964 and graduated in Law at the University of Vienna. He entered the ERSTE Foundation in 2001 and he was appointed Member of the Board of ERSTE Foundation in June 2008. From 1998 until 2000 he was responsible for the project management for the installation of the Holocaust Monument (Rachel Whiteread) in the city of Vienna. In 1999 he published the book on the challenges of democracy in the 21st century "Die Neue Ordnung des Politischen - Die Herausforderungen der Demokratie im 21. Jahrhundert" (Campus Verlag, Frankfurt/New York).

Luc Tayart de Borms (Managing Director, King Baudouin Foundation)

Luc Tayart de Borms graduated in 1980 with a degree in Moral Sciences from the University of Ghent. He entered the King Baudouin Foundation's prospective department in 1983, and was appointed Managing Director of the foundation by the Board of Directors in 1995.

Secretary 

Dominique Lemaistre (Director General, Fondation de France)

Dominique Lemaistre started her career in 1984 as administrator of a photographs public order. 4 years later, she joined Fondation de France where she dedicated herself to philanthropy. As Head of grant making activities, Dominique Lemaistre now supervises the activity of the 20 Fondation de France programmes and the 650 charitable funds administered by Fondation de France. Serving philanthropy for 20 years has enabled Dominique Lemaistre to consider all the foundations and philanthropy stakes in France and Europe, through the very instructive and evolving context of the 1990's up to today: relationship with private and corporate funders, governance, social expertise in the most various fields, legal and tax evolving rules.
