Luc Tayart de Borms (Managing Director, King Baudouin Foundation)
Luc Tayart de Borms graduated in 1980 with a degree in Moral Sciences from the University of Ghent. He entered the King Baudouin Foundation's prospective department in 1983, and was appointed Managing Director of the foundation by the Board of Directors in 1995.

Piero Gastaldo (Secretary General, Compagnia di San Paolo)
Piero Gastaldo studied at Turin University and at the Centre for Migration Studies, New York, before joining the Fondazione Giovanni Agnelli in 1979. After a short period as Deputy-Mayor of the City of Turin, he was appointed Director of Programs at the Compagnia di Pan Paolo in 1998 and Secretary General three years later.

Rien van Gendt graduated in 1980 from the University of Amsterdam with a Doctorate in Economics. Following various positions at the OECD, the Dutch national public service and private fims, he joined the Bernard van Leer Foundation in 1988. He was appointed Executive Director of the Van Leer Group Foundation in 2002.

Francis Charhon (Director General, Fondation de France)
Francis Charhon is a founding member of Médecins Sans Frontières ("Doctors Without Borders"). Trained as an anaesthetist, he was successively President and Managing Director of Médecins Sans Frontières from 1980 to 1991. He was appointed Director General of the Fondation de France in 1992.
